MVC Medical Review Unit is responsible for identifying
high-risk drivers and taking appropriate administrative action when medical or
physical conditions may compromise a driver's ability to safely operate a motor
vehicle.
Recognizing that the loss of driving privileges can be
a life-changing event, the Medical Review Unit, conducts a thorough review of a
driver's medical/physical qualifications and often seeks recommendations from
the Medical Advisory Panel before implementing any administrative action or
restrictions.
